The TBC English Club meets at the church each week during school term and provides a friendly and welcoming environment for newcomers to Australia who wish to make new friends and develop their English-language listening, speaking and reading skills.

 

Classes meet on Wednesdays from 9:30 am to 11:30 am. Tutors are trained by AMES under VTEP (Volunteer Tutor Enhancement Program).

We arrange regular guest speakers, providing practical advice about life in Australia. These have included doctors, dentists, dietitians and government agency workers.
